The food here is absolutely great. But. The decor is pretty lacking, not a huge deal but you expect a bit of show in what is... often considered the local premiere dining hall of its particular cuisine. The service was lack lustre, the server was veryunknowledeable and so, so slow. We waited about 40 minutes for her to come by so we could order more naan in an almost emptyrestaurant. And lastly, although no decor and initially no music- someone decided it would be a good idea to turn on the big TVfacing us to play the Punjabi gangster version of MTV where video after video featured gang fights, shoot outs and outright coldexecutions. I had butter chicken and garlic bread and it was perfect, highly recommended
Have been coming here for years with family. The food is excellent, always had a good experience. Today, I ordered take out and... the server tipped herself 30% on the machine before she passed it to me for payment. Guess she thought I wouldn't notice. Seemslike a ridiculous surcharge for take out. Unfortunate experience and I hope it was just her. Read more
