Not my absolute favourite place for sushi, but very good! Nigiri pieces are generously sized in the protein department. My... husband ordered Teriyaki chicken and said it was very good. The Gyoza weren?t my favourite, but my husband thought they werebetter than our usual place, so you just can?t please all of the people all of the time. Décor here is very modern rustic, which I love, and the bathrooms were spacious and spotless; friendly service that isn?t too in-your-face or bothersome duringthe meal. The reason I won?t come back in awhile is that there are a LOT of other Sushi restaurant options in Abbotsford for meto try first. Read more

I never write reviews but I ordered from Hiko for the first time and absolutely had to get on here to show them some love. Wow!... I ordered the Alaska and the Kiss Me roll and they were both the best sushi dish I?ve ever had.. and I?ve enjoyed manydifferent sushi restaurants. Absolutely delicious, 10/10 will order from here from now on. The Kiss Me roll is next leveldelicious. Ordered takeout so can?t comment on service or atmosphere but food was incredible. Read more

The first thing I noticed when I entered the restaurant was the polished look and clean style. I went on a Thursday afternoon,... so the restaurant was peaceful, and I enjoyed the soft upbeat music. After browsing the menu and deciding what I wanted to eat,I only got halfway to setting the menu down before my waitress asked if I was ready to order. I got the Dyna Combo, a Dynamiteroll, a Crunch Prawn roll, and a Crunch California roll all for the affordable price of $18. I also sipped on some complimentarytea which made a lovely pair with the sushi. After only a few minutes my food arrived, and it was one of the fastest meals I?veever received at a restaurant. The Dynamite roll was downright immaculate, the roll's girth warrants a safety warning andchildren or people with small mouths are advised to take a couple of bites for each roll. The roll is packed with more crab thana California roll, two pieces of crispy prawn tempura, cucumber, and avocado. The sauces on this roll are really what made it asweet teriyaki sauce and a creamy peanut mayo brings together the symphony that is this roll. The Crunch prawn roll scared me abit on paper: white rice, tempura, and panko flakes seemed like a lot of starch in one roll, but it pulled through and waved anyprevious fears?this rolls crunch factor came through to make another delicious roll. The teriyaki sauce was again a welcomedaddition on both the Crunch Prawn and California rolls. I left feeling fully satisfied, Hiko Sushi is a restaurant I plan onreturning to and a sushi spot I would highly recommend. Read more
