Excellent food and dining experience! The first inviting thing I noticed was the delicious smokey scent that greated me into... their restaurant from their parking lot. This place has the best rib-eye I've ever had! I ordered it medium rare. It came out seared to perfection while tender, juicy,... and flavorful on the inside! It came with two sides; I got the fried okra and loaded mashed potatoes. Pro tip: they put the sourcream and butter underneath the potatoes, so mix 'em up good first. Always good food here. Jalapeño poppers were awesome. The chicken fried steak was my choice this time. The meat was a bit to... chewy and had a lot of gristle in it. The crust was really good and the gravy was the best. Sides are average. A littledisappointed with this dish but I love everything else they offer and will continue to frequent. Read more

Had the fried pickles and they were super sour, almost so sour you couldn't eat them and I love Dill pickles. I had ordered the... hamburger steak with grilled onions/peppers and bacon BITS. Well I received it and my onions/peppers were not even grilled andthey lazily place bacon strips on top. It would of tasted so much better if they were actually cooked and thinly sliced. Hubbyhad the chicken fried Steak and it was really tough! Pretty sad when they say they have The Best in town! Well all i can say isi really enjoyed my sweet potato but dislike how it says on the menu it's a regular side NOT a premium. We most definitely won'tever return here. One and Done. Read more
