Atmosphere was great! Food and service were both good too.... but it took over an hour to get our food from the time our... order was entered and they weren't terribly busy. I'm gonna chalk it up to being a new business and still getting in thegroove! ???? Certainly worth a second chance from me! Read more

My wife and I have been to the Twisted Root in San Angelo a couple of times and enjoyed our meals there. The Abilene one is... mediocre at best. Service earned them a star because it was good and the folks working there were friendly. The second star wasthat the restaurant and atmosphere was nice. Especially outdoors. The tootsies chicken/ Nashville chicken clone wasn?t hot atall and extremely disappointing. Chicken was too salty. Cheese fries were terrible. I think we had two bites and threw them inthe trash. Onion straw/ rings were meh. Wife?s burger was too salty and meh as well. All for the great price of 43 bucks???.. Idefinitely wouldn?t go out of my way to go here and unfortunately the wife and I won?t be coming back. Read more
So I'm writing this while still in my booth so i didnt forget to do it later. 20/10 would recommend this place! Starting with... the nostalgic music playing, the AWESOME order buzzer names like Austin Powers, Beastie Boys, and The Dude to name a few. Thenwe get our food which was AMAZING! I never had a Buffalo burger before but it was great on the Freshman 15! The Root Beer Floatwas awesome too, just wish it came in a bigger cup due to the Root beer foam. DEFINITELY check this place out if u love burgersand a good atmosphere. I live on the other side of town but this was worth the trip! Read more

Today I tried TRB for the third time. I love the place, the vibe, and the music. The service is fast, and the personnel is... always kind and smiling. The burgers could be better. I have tried the Vegabond, The Happy Pilgrim, and the Millionaire. Thebest you will get from these three is the name, which is very creative. That's it. The patty is dry and has no flavor. However,since I really like the vibe, I will give this place another chance to try its exotic meats. Read more
