On our way back to Santa Fe, we made an unplanned stop and had lunch there. The service was smooth and staff were all friendly... especially our waitress, which was extremely nice. We both had Shrimp And Grits and I think it was one of the best we?ve everhad. The shrimp was fresh and the grits creamy. Their Summer Berry Pudding was refreshing dessert. We took the whole family and our fur baby to Abiquiu. We went to this restaurant twice. It?s pet friendly. We enjoyed our meals... on the patio. The food is really good. I gonna miss their trout dishes a lot. Read more
What a pleasant surprise to have found such a wonderful place to dine. The food was fantastic! We checked in to our hotel room... and walked right in to get a table at 7:00 on a Sunday evening. After a long day of traveling we were relieved they were openand happy to serve us. Service was great, had some Gruet to celebrate our visit and ordered a couple appetizers and entrées.Our children were pretty tired from the trip but seemed to enjoy their visit as the beautiful artwork on the wall served asgreat conversational pieces while we waited for our food. First we had the Hummus then Napoleon appetizer, which I highlyrecommend. For entrées, my husband had the Red Chile Shrimp & Grits and I had the Blue Corn Crusted Trout with Corn Cakes &Green Beans. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection. The next morning we had the Red Chile Eggs Benedict & our childrenhad pancakes.
