If you’re driving too quickly you might not spot this hidden gem. I can’t believe I’ve lived in the area for as long as I... have and this restaurant was new to me. Located in Acton, MA, it offers a very unique feel where comfort fusions amazingly withthe traditional. Although I do not know much about the history of the location of Rapscallion, you notice that they kept the“homey” feel of the original house. The architecture is there and they make great use of it offering private rooms for yourparty. We were in a large group on a Thursday evening, without a reservation, and we’re able to be accommodated, but I’dsuggest you call in advance and ask about having a reservation. The set up indoors was perfect! Service was awesome! Our grouptried and shared a variety of apps and main dishes and ALL the food was absolutely delicious! I know this may be seasonal, butif you can try the lobster grilled cheese, please do! I’ve never had anything like it before, and the truffle Brussels sproutsmelt in your mouth. First time here and was pleasantly surprised. Beautiful outdoor setting, that was spaced nicely so I felt safe with my young... family who cannot yet be vaccinated. (Family friendly!) The staff was all super friendly and worked together like an efficientteam. Becca our server was great. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great insight when we asked some prepquestions. She was well-timed with check-ins and pacing of food. All the food was fantastic and the cocktails were top notch. Wehad the pleasure of enjoying the special "Whiskey Rebel" which I will be craving for every St. Patty's day for years to come.(Imagine a refined Irish car bomb.
