Ribs were great, pulled pork was decent. Didn't care for the brisket - too dry - but it was the end of the week, so it might be... better when fresh. I've been to a couple other BBQ joints in the area and liked this the best. Read more
They catered the meats for our Labor Day weekend get together. The ribs and pulled pork were very flavorful. I wasn't as fond of... the pulled chicken. The all white meat was a bit too dry for me. I don't know if they have an option for mixed white and darkmeat chicken. That probably would be a little bit better. I can't speak to any of the other dishes. But having them cook themeat was a real time saver for me. Read more
Im OTR trucker I was sitting over the weekend Maretta Georgia. Decide to look up some barbecue places found JD barbecue.... Everything was pretty good didn?t have any complaints except My large bright was probably watered down taste like soda water.Service is quick staff is nice they don?t really have any alcohol beverages besides beer???? The bbq is amazing and the service is really attentive but the only reason I didn?t give a full 5 stars is because the wait time... can be a pretty long when it?s busy. The ribs are amazing and fall off the bone and brisket is either amazing or pretty gooddepending on what cut it is. It?s a must visit though and It?s worth the drive if you live closer to Atlanta.
