The best breakfast in the area. Large portions. Eggs cooked to perfection. Sausage gravy biscuits were delicious. Meats on... sampler platter were tender and flavorful. My husband and I were passing through and stopped to eat at 801 Southern Kitchen and Pancake House. My husband had lunch (a... burger) and I had a cooked breakfast. The food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was verypleasant. I was hoping it was a franchise that we could find one closer to home, but, alas, it is not. Half of a dining experience is the service component. It was not a pleasant experience especially from the hostess. The... waitress was as impersonal as possible. Food was excellent.
