This is Docs at Grand lake. You get what you get and you don?t throw a fit. It?s not uptown eating by any stretch. However it?s... pretty good food and a great atmosphere. I usually don?t get my drink refilled without tracking somebody down. I usually getseated quickly and have some fun choices. They had a Mexican fiesta last night and I had a tamale that was outstanding withreally great beans and rice. I?ve had their kale salad before and it was yummy. My daughter enjoys their grilled cheese, theirpizza, and the chicken strips aren?t bad. Had a girls date here and were excited to try something new. The Brussel sprouts and fried pickles we're amazing. The grilled... chicken sandwich was so dry and unseasoned I didn't even eat it. The salad was okay, but the service was honestly the worst. Shenever smiled or checked on us. We sat with empty cups our entire lunch. We saw her multiple times just sitting at the barvisiting or at the computer talking with fellow servers. All three of us are servers and bartenders. We always tip above andbeyond. We understand busy and not getting back to the table immediately, but when we can see you're just simply visiting andnot taking care of your guest, your tip will reflect that. 3rd time in a row with the same experience. Terrible personality with the hostess?she informed us that there was a ?kitchen?... wait and tried to discourage us from even staying. The service at the bar was very bad and the bar was almost empty. Thebartender was friendly but his accent was so strong we couldn?t understand him.
