I ordered the beef steak special. It was very good and all the sides were perfect. The price $$$ is great.
My route 66 passport brought me here and I'm so glad that it did! The food was great, the service was wonderful, and the... atmosphere is so welcoming. A must stop for anybody traveling along the old route! I definitely look forward to stopping by hereagain in the future. Read more
The Green Country Cafe is a stop on the official Oklahoma Route 66 passport. It is a roadside diner that may be tempted to drive... by but do yourself a favor and stop. The fried chicken is delicious and comes in a quarter or half portion and choice of meat ispossible. The chili with beans and tater tots would be a perfect compliment for a cold day. I don't understand these five star reviews. This was the nastiest food! There is nothing good about if.....powdered gravy,... instant potatoes....flavorless. People that eat this food and say it's good must not know what real good food is. Do yourself afavor and avoid this place. Ignore the good reviews that are there.
