Went to this restaurant today and was sad to see that the ownership had changed since my last visit. I moved out of Aiken, but... come to shop and eat at my favorite restaurants from time to time. This time, it was Jasmine Thai?s turn. Like I said, was alittle disappointed that it was under new management, only because I was afraid the menu was going to be different?and it isdifferent. I was not able to get my favorite menu item, the Yum Mama. We decided to still give it a try. Pad Thai was still onthe menu, at least. So we ordered 2 wonton soups, an order of spring rolls, and 2 fried rice (one was chicken, one was shrimp).I added chicken to my shrimp Pad Thai, at an expected additional cost, no problem. The soup was ???? scorched. The Pad Thai wasmediocre and the rice was just okay. The cost of our meal for 3 people (2 adults, one small child) was $94!!! I wasflabbergasted! I will not be returning, to say the least! I hate to say that my favorite hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant haslost my business. PS: I will say they did slightly improve the ambiance of the place since the previous owners. There were noother customers. The buffet was empty- we arrived a little after noon. Read more

We went here after my sister and her husband attended, she raved about the Red Curry. So, I had to try it. We got there an... hour before the kitchen closes(our fault not theirs) we did not feel unwelcome, rushed and our waitress answered may manyquestions because though I love food. I am not a fan of chunky bits of food. So, the red curry is bamboo shoots, red and greenpeppers. After my many questions they did offer to take all the chunky stuff out because it is all made fresh and to order. Idecided to stop being a child and have it as it comes in Thai Hot(level 5) it was very aromatic. Very tasty. I had the duck andchicken in it, both were yummy. We also ordered the Thai tea and donuts ??? delicious. Never felt rushed or an inconvenience tothem despite waiting last minute to come eat. Very good. Would return and will recommend. Read more

This food was so bad that neither my sister nor I ate it. Spring rolls with no filling! Two small curries (red and yellow) both... watery and sour. Staff said 'sorry' but didn't even stand up to address us or get a manager or offer compensation. 38.00 (for 2small entrees, 5 Spring rolls and 2 teas?) Down the drain.. Read more
