Love this place.. addicted to the freshness and quality! Doesn't spike blood sugar and feel guilt free indulging. Very impressive nutrition facts, only downside are the prices but you definitely get what you pay for here. They sell out fast of popular items like muffins and croissants. Will continue shopping here! Very delicious and nutrient rich!

Absolutely incredible place. Very clean, reasonably priced, super friendly service, but most importantly AMAZING products!!!! Gluten-free, keto, sugar free.... you name it, they make it and it tastes better than any flour +sugar loaded pastries. I have no idea how this store managed to come up with recipes, but to say that they are magical, would be an understatement!!!! Love it, love it, love it..... and absolutely recommend it to All!!!!

I have been buying delicious treats from Ksenia at Choko-Mocko for years now. The quality of her baked goods speaks for itself. I personally am obsessed with her croissants and eclairs. I was also incredibly touched by her kindness when she personally delivered a box of goodies I ordered for my nurse friend in Whitby near the beginning of the pandemic. With the high quality of ingredients, items you purchase are worth every penny. Seriously, how does she make them so tasty and accommodating for almost every single dietary restriction :)?! Forever customer right here!

Hi there. I had a really bad experience with the delivery from them. A day before the delivery I got a call (as I asked for): « the delivery will be tomorrow, buy ». I was like: « wow wait, thank you, but what time frame? » The lady was annoyed, but answered « hm, between 2 pm and 6 pm ». Next day I received a much expected delivery. For 25$ (!) delivery fee I?ve got cold and wet from being in a bag for a long time desserts, waiting for me at the security point in the building. No message or a call upon the delivery, as I kindly asked them to do. I was lucky to find out accidentally that the delivery was left downstairs and that the security person haven?t left yet (at 10 pm). Otherwise the order would stay there over night. I don?t even know for how many hours the croissants were « melting » there, but the security person said it was a while, and when I opened the bag it was all moisture. Not a nice experience for 90$, 8 wet croissants and bitter service aftertaste. Giving then 2 stars only because the bakery has some unique items such as the gluten-free croissants. Hands down that?s a real culinary achievement! But the communication with them is never really pleasant (there were some moments before as well). I won?t be surprised if the owner will reply with a denial, as it happened before with other reviews. However, it would be much better if the business would use the reviews to improve their service, rather than to push further away their clients.

My favourite bakery! This is the only place in Ontario I can walk into and know I can eat anything without getting sick. As a person with severe dietary restrictions, this is a dream come true! Everything is hand-made right down to some of the ingredients! I highly recommend their croissants, brownies, and crepes. 5 stars!

One of the best gluten free bakeries. The crepes and the desserts are amazing. The only downside is that you have to pay for the quality so the prices are higher than average. But worth going and picking up things you would not think could be made gluten free.

Ordered from here three times so far, two of which I went to the actual store. The owner and the associate working there were nice. They said hello as soon as I walked in. To date, I have tried the soft French bread, sesame bagels, a chocolate chip cookie, an eclair, and a carrot cake. I didn't enjoy the French bread but the bagels were good! Note, the breads didn't look like the images on their website, and the bagels also did not match the description of being chewy. But nonetheless still very good bagels when toasted. The carrot cake and chocolate chip cookie were delicious. The carrot cake was moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. The cookie was flat and crispy with a good amount of chips in it! The eclair was not to my liking but that may just be a personal preference. I can see others possibly liking it. Overall great desserts. I plan to try more at some point. However, it is fairly expensive (ex. 4 donuts is $32) which really sucks but at least I'm supporting a small business and hopefully these prices are justified in some way.

What a disappointment... I've had Choko Mocko desserts multiple times so I decided to order a birthday cake for my grandmother's birthday. The cake was on the pricey side of ~$50 for a 6" strawberry shortcake. My expectations definitely weren't met when I cut the cake to reveal burnt, dry cake layers between thick icing. Myself and 3 of my family members are gluten free/vegan and couldn't eat the cake. It was hard along the edges, dry and burnt (as seen in the photos) and most of it was thrown away. I emailed the bakery on the same day (last Wednesday) to try to rectify the matter and the customer service I received was so unhelpful. Without any apology, Peter responded to "reassure me" that the cake I received "looks exactly the way all their cakes look" and "the whole nut flours, seeds and sweeteners affect the colour". Complete disregard for the clearly burnt product I was given. I've had many gluten free/vegan cakes from other shops and they might be darker in colour but they aren't burnt or hard/dry. I responded to Peter to let him know that I disagreed but my emails have been ignored since Friday. This bake shop is quick to accept your e-transfer but doesn't stand by their products or respond to customer concerns in an appropriate way. I'd never order anything from here again.
