I am shocked by the 4.5 star average based on my experience. The chicken was undercooked. I had to recook almost all of it to... avoid salmonella. Chicken has to be cooked properly. The chicken had a funny chemically taste, not sure why. The rice had noflavour. How come this place doesn't put red sauce over the rice as most Greek places do make it flavourful. It's reallyexpensive for a small portion of food. In addition, there was some flies flying inside the restaurant. The only part of the mealthat was edible was the salad. I also saw one lady who was about to leave her shift (wearing non-uniform clothes) touch thechicken using her hands instead of tongs to show the guy how to cook it. So disgusting :( Read more
Delicious food, pleasant staff, and conveniently located, I?m so glad I discovered Greek Freak by accident during a Google... search for food close the highway on my way home one day. All the food is very flavourful, it is incredibly easy to call ororder online (I have done both), and the portions are excellent. After ordering a few times on my way east, I decided to order afeast from the Greek Freak for my family?s Thanksgiving dinner this year. My mother had just gotten out of hospital and had avery restricted list of what she could eat. Having enjoyed the food in the past, I knew it would be a hit. Everyone loved andenjoyed each of the items I ordered. This included a freak wrap, both the chicken and pork skewers, the rice, salad, pita and ofcourse the potatoes, which are to die for! My family still fondly talks about that meal when we visit, and I have brought overvarious items I have ordered since. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in what I consider to be the bestGreek food I have ever enjoyed. Read more
Just ordered a family platter last night and can't say enough good things about it! Best seasoned potatoes ever, and the meat... skewers were really good too especially the pork skewers, meat was so tender. Adding this to our regulars going forward. Read more
