The food gets 4 stars which is max for this type of food... I'll never give 5 stars for eating in a car, ???? I was feeling... nostalgic and wanted to go down memory lane so we did a drive-in thing! Service was awesome as there were only 2-3 cars. Veryfriendly young man took care of us. Atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for ???? Food, I had to order two regular coneydogs because I didn't see a foot long on the menu...foot long coney and malt shake is what brought me here as memories of mychildhood were coming back. Oh well, two regular coney's did the job. The banana malt shake was a home run! Also, they have verygood fries. They're slightly larger than a McDonald's fries and just the right amount of salt. I don't do much fast food buttonight I had a craving for drive-in food. Overall, very satisfying experience and would definitely go there again sometime! Read more

Fries are good, but burgers are worse than McDonald's. Very bland, gristley, not very fresh (reminds me of the mystery meat in... old high school cafeteria Salisbury steak). Friendly service. Read more
Skyway Drive-In is one of the few drive-ins left in the Midwest and has been around since 1952! They offer classic American food... from burger to fries and shakes and more! This location is very cute with a diner-like atmosphere that have servers come to yourcar when you out your lights on to get service. They have some less glamorous locations around so I recommend coming to thisone. They pride themselves on juicy, made-to-order, burgers made fresh. My wife and I had burgers and fries with a few drinksand sides. Overall the food was good but was lacking in flavor with certain things. Their service was nice and prompt and wedidn't wait much to order. Food came out at a reasonable time as well. All in all I would recommend people to try this locationif they haven't had them before but I probably won't come back except maybe to try the chicken sandwiches because the menu issimilar to Swensons Drive-in and they do everything much better. Swensons has also been around before Skyway so Skyway is thecompetitor. Now, I got the Sky Hi Combo which came with the Sky Hi Sandwich, fries and a drink. My wife got a Skyscraper combowith potato Teasers and a drink and we also got sauerkraut balls. Our burgers came with two patties, american cheese, shreddedlettuce, pickles with their "Sky Hi Sauce", and a center bun with both burgers. The burgers were not overcooked but they weren't"juicy" either. They also seemed a little bland and could have used some seasoning in the meat after they formed the patties andseasoning while they were being cooked. I had to add some extra sauce to the bottom of my burger because it was a bit dryoverall with that extra bun in the middle. The fries were nice but could have used a bit more salt too. The Potato Teasers aresuspiciously like Swensons and taste very similar as well but they are deep-fried potato and cheese bites with mild choppedjalapenos inside and are oblong shaped. Pains me to say?. But I think I?m done with Skyway. Something happened from Covid??? ??.and they?ve changed their OnionRings. I... thought it was just a mishap when we went to the Fairlawn location. I thought possibly the grease was too cool because they wereaweful. But sadly?. No. Here in the Green location they?re the same. Y?all had a GOOD THING going. That was one of the mainitems that separated you from Swensons. Now, I have no reason to come back. Whomever made that executive decision,?. Man did youmake a mistake. A big mistake. Tonight they were short staffed. We waited almost 40 mins for our food. I gave the kid a heftytip and the disappointment to see those yucky, greasy onion rings?. Ughhhhhh Last $28 I will spend with you. Unless you bringthem back. Yes. They were that good!!!! My burger was sloppy. I get that you?re short staffed , but come on.
