For my wedding day, I had an unusual request. I wanted to recreate a 70 year old wedding cake. My favorite wedding picture of my... grandparents was of them cutting their cake and since I was gifted the original wedding topper? my idea was formed and the greatteam at West Side helped bring it to life. I also ordered a traditional cake for my husband and myself to cut. The team did afantastic job on both cakes (see pictures) they were beautiful and delicious. I order a two tier birthday cake for my daughter. It was $237. It wasn?t that good sadly. You would expect that an expensive... cake would be flavorful and mind blowing delicious but the cake that I order was nasty. It was dry and you can hardly taste theflavors. It was a chocolate peanut butter cake and a strawberry banana cake. The flavors were nothing unordinary. How could theymess it up?! It was dry and nasty. I don?t know what people are ordering from there that is soo good but it was my first timeordering from there because I saw that the reviews were good. The cake was nasty. They got the decorations wrong and it wasn?tthe way I wanted even though I specifically told the lady on the phone how I wanted it to look. I sent them two pics of how Iwanted the cake to be decorated and it was easy peasy decoration. How could they get it wrong?! It was so simple!! Theydecorated the cake a different way. (Eye roll***) Then the lady on the phone told me that there?s a 25% upfront charge for thecake order. I said ok and gave her my credit card number and she charged me full price for it!!! I Went in for an unpaid working shift on October 20th withBria. She stated she would be contacting me Monday morning 10/24 about scheduling my first shift for employment. There wasnothing stated and no one contacted me about the offer for employment being rescinded. After several attempts to contactmanagement, I feel they do not have a valid reason other than using people looking for employment for free labor. Read more
