The place is nice and the food was good, but I am giving just 3 stars because the hostess at the entrance wasn't pleasant, she... forced us, with not very good manners, to put our bicycles in the bike rack, I am sorry, but you need to understand that ourbicycles are very expensive and we are not happy to leave them out of our sight, so we had to seat not at the table we wanted.Also, there were very few vegan options, they were good, but overpriced. Omg I loveeee this place !! I had veggie roasted pita and fries my boyfriend had corned beef hash . It was all delightful ! It's... going to be hard to try new things cause I already know I want to eat that pita again ! Our server was wonderful Jen T . And thestaff all seem to work as a team because they were quite busy . A bit pricey but worth ot because of their fresh ingredients. Iam in the biz so I know they use quality ingredients. Thank you for your hard work guys it's our new favorite place . Valley cafe is my new favorite breakfast restaurant in Akron's Merriman Valley. Sunny and inviting, the place radiates warmth... and comfort. Beautiful outdoor patios and tables surround the cafe with abundant outdoor seating for summer days. Thewaitstaff is friendly and knowledgeable and the portions are large and filling enough to suit even the biggest apatite. When wevisited I had the thick cut Amish French toast which was lightly fried and covered in a sweet citrus glaze. I paired it with acoffee specialty consisting of chocolatey coffee whipped cream and gummy worms. I also tried the coffee of the day, a vanillablend that was smooth and comforting. They have breakfast, brunch and lunch daily. There is also ample parking. Note, they dohave handicapped accessible parking, but due to the smaller size of the dining room, I think accommodating a wheelchair would bedifficult during peak hours. Read more
Probably one of my new favorite local spots. It’s not too far off the tow path and the food is one of the best brunch spots... I’ve had lately! Very down to earth people, and the patio was nice too. Could’ve used better umbrellas for shade, but theatmosphere and food was awesome. Read more
