Drank my bottled coke about halfway, that I received from them on my door dash order. Come to find out its a month out of date,... I know drinks don?t necessarily expire by said date. But As I went into take a sip again after I finished my food, which wasawesome no complaints, I smelled this horrific smell coming from inside the bottle!!! Future note, don?t get drinks from them,the food is fine on the other hand, according to my experience. Read more
Several months back, I wrote a review on the Panda Express in Hoover. I wrote how disappointed we were over the service we... received. Our food cartons turned upside down and side ways and the juices from the cartons were in our bag. We communicatedwere were eating in. AND why we chose the Hoover location. Since we were in the Alabaster today, we gave Panda Express inAlabaster another try. I really don't know what we were thinking! (Maybe Alabaster cleaned the dining room and fountain area,etc.) Surprisingly, the Dining room had a messy table and floor at that table which was attended to. We were greeted in afriendly and courteous manner. Our order was taken. The steamed rice was dry and cold. Three of our 5 entrees, we got an extraside, were partially warm to almost cold. I informed the employee who took our order and she apologized. Not her fault! I movedfrom California to Alabama 5 years ago. Panda Express was within walking distance from our house and we frequented therestaurant at least 2 times a month. Discouraging. Read more
I always order online, but every time I still wait a minimum of 30 minutes. This has been my experience with this place for a... while now, but they're the only place that sells any sort of grilled chicken and rice. My last visit is what convinced me towrite this review. After waiting the usual 30 minutes, as the cashier was handing me the food he says "Oh by the way, we are outof white rice, so I put fried rice. Hope that was okay". It was not okay at all. This wouldn't be a problem if they had decentfried rice. However, Panda Express' fried rice is worse than dog food. Every thing in it is undercooked and greasy. I decided togive it another go when I received my food, and it was still garbage. If you are out of the thing the customer ordered, ask themif they want a substitute. The food taste good it was hot, but I ask for and orange fanta. they gave it to me then told me to pull around an wait on my... food. That's what I did. I go to taste the drink straight accessor water is what I got.???? I asked the young man to bring me asweet tea explaining to him why, he said ok no problem but brings back the same drink literally that I just gave him.Then toldme to "taste it because he was told it was ok"... it was still gross???? so to avoid them doing something to my drink I justtook it. "I told him it still didn't taste right to me but I want make him get another". why not just give me what I asked forthe first time. people think they are so slick it's sad. The service is fast and friendly most of the time, but their food isn?t great. The rice and lo mein are bland and have a... tendency to be pretty dry. The beef is fatty and flavorless. The best thing on the menu is their honey sesame chicken. It?susually crunchy and saucy, just the right amount of sweetness, and generally pretty fresh, as is the orange chicken. I hope youlike a good amount of slightly overcooked veggies with your meal as well. I personally do, but I can see how that wouldn?t beeveryone?s thing. The sweet tea is always good though. Read more
