LOVE this place. Have visited several times, had a different dish each time and each was just as good as the last. The... Margaritas are amazing. Even the house margarita. Every time we fly into the Oakland area, we go to La Penca Azul. By far the best Mexican food in the Alameda area. It is a bit... noisy but not so bad I have to turn up my hearing aids. Has a few areas for larger groups. Good servers who are friendly. Thedon't try to push you out. Read more
