It's a great local establishment. Convenient location right on Solano where you can still before or after your meal. Friendly... and prompt service. Good deal for the price. Terrific atmosphere. Started off with French onion soup which was good but notparticularly amazing. The goat cheese salad was very nice and came with a huge piece of cheese. The Coq au vin was tasty witha nice sauce and incredible mashed potatoes. The rack of lamb was a tad overdone and dry. It also could use a little moreseasoning. This is a French "fast" food restaurant. (Bistro is Russian for fast, coming from a time when Russian soldiers were stationed in... Paris).
