It's been awhile since we've been to a new place and couldn't wait to come back. So, that's what we did, 2 weekends in a row.... Everything was great both times. This is elevated Italian that stands out among the sea of italian places in this area. Everyingredient from the olive oil, to the homemade pasta dough, to the sauce tastes very fresh and top tier. If that wasn't goodenough, Emmanuel is one of the best mixologists in the area, and he adds to the whole experience. Read more
The bartender was amazing! He had a great sense of humor and his attention to detail was commendable! The actual restaurant was... cozy and unique. The Chicken Marsala was delicious. The only thing that I would wish for would be a garden salad before mydinner. A bit disappointed with our first experience here after all the hype. We went for my birthday and the service was extremely... slow. To no fault of the waitress- it just seemed like that had one staff member taking care of every table. As a result- thelarger parties around us had a lot more attention as expected- and my husband and I sat most of the night without a drink, withfinished plates sitting in front of us. It took us about 25 minutes to get our first cocktail- so we didnt bother orderinganother one because it would have taken too long to get it. The meatball app was very very good but it was cold/luke warm atbest. My husbands marsala came out piping hot and fantastic. My gnocchi dish was cold, completely separated with a pile of oilon top. I could tell it wasnt heated properly because about halfway through eating it I found a huge spoonful of butter- notmelted at all. It was a bit of a turnoff. I think the place has potential but they need more staff and more attention to detailpaid to the consistency of the dishes for the price they are charging.
