Tried Tengu for takeout and was pleased. Didn't order a ton, but everything I had was very tasty. One standard roll, one fancy... roll, and a few pieces of sashimi, all very fresh with nice presentation. It will definitely be a place to try again! Read more
The outside appearance leaves you wondering what it even is but inside is so pretty, quant and comfortable. We were seated... immediately the place was empty and I have no idea why. The food was INCREDIBLE!! The mongolian beef is so tender and soperfectly seasoned. The best gyoza ive ever eaten. My husband had a fantastic roll and he absolutely LOVED IT. Great sushi at a fair price Our first 'visit' to Tengu Asian Bistro was actually in the form of a home delivery and were... extremely pleased with our dinner. Not only do we feel it was a fair price, but the food was also fresh, had great flavor,looked impressive, and got to our house in record time. We ordered fried dumplings, three different basic rolls and twospecialty rolls. Our total came to around $80 which, again, we felt was a fair price especially when you consider the overallexperience: taste, presentation, and packaging. The sushi was so good that this was the first time in a long time that we ateeverything that we ordered. There are many reviews raving about their specialty rolls, and we can definitely understand why;they were delicious! The packaging was amazing is amazing as well. The sushi was so perfectly packed that no matter how bad adelivery person might be, the rolls would be safe. I thought they might end up being a mess once I started opening thecontainers, but you can see in the pictures that the rolls came out perfectly. So my first couple of times eating food from this place was good. I ordered online for my lunch break and I got the rainbow roll... (pictured) and the next day an Alaska roll and California roll. The rainbow roll had big ole chunks of fish which wasappreciated. Spicy Mayo was good. The only problem I had, which is kind of big, is the pieces were way to big. So every time Iate a piece, my whole mouth was full and I was literally stuffing my face and had to open my mouth as much as I could in orderto get it in. Make your jokes lol. Other than that, it was a good tasting roll. The Alaska and California roll were a goodnormal size and tastes very good. The wasabi was not spicy at all in my opinion.
