Had the combo. Best shrimp ever. Fish meat itself was great and well cooked, but the breading was a little dark and tasted a... little overcooked. Old Bay seasoning can also make things taste that way. Not sure, but was a little bummed because I am alwaylooking for good fried fish. Again, meat inside awesome, batter not so much. Wife had chowder, it was awesome! Liked the shrimpsalad with meal, but next time I may ask for the salad on the side. Hot and cold bothers me a little. Altogether great food andvery friendly service. One of my favorites!, this restaurant has been an Albany staple forever I can remember coming here as a kid if that gives you... any clue as to how long its been around. Their 1000 island dressing is fresh made there and is perfect for the Shrimp or Bonnycrunch salad ! Read more
Absolutely amazing! The staff are always friendly everytime I come in and their food is amazing! The atmosphere this restaurant... gives off is amazing, it's calming, overall wonderful! The clam chowder is a must! Best around! Their "Bonnie Crunch" is alsofabulous! If you love carrots the Bonnie Crunch is totally the way to go! They just added Popcorn Shrimp to their menu!!
