I have eaten in alot of restaurants or my lifetime and this one is number one for me. First, the menu gives a great variety to... choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Second, the food is superb. The food is down to earth family style and not a bunchof processed meats and other foods. Everything is fresh and the taste is awesome. Third, you get what you pay for in thisrestaurant. I do not have any problem with the prices because all size portions are above and beyond any others within the localcommunity. Fourth, the owners and staff treat you like you are family. There is no other choice for me when it comes todining in Albert Lea. FANTASTIC!!! Read more

Right off the bat was greeted by the owner (very friendly) and was seated, per our request, out of the way of other customers,... for a quiet/intimate dining experience. Came for dinner, but it wasn't busy, which was nice. Service (once we were noticed inour little corner of the restaurant) was grand! Friendly wait staff, quick response to requests and overall a goodexperience. The food was good. It wasnt dazzling, but neither of us ordered anything fancy. Maybe next time we'll get a littlemore out of the comfort zone, but they made the food correctly and it wasn't undercooked/overcooked, so overall I liked myexperience, but I can't say I loved it. We ate here on a Saturday night. We had a group of 7 and called ahead to reserve a table. Food came pretty quick, but some of... the food with our table was bland and lacked seasoning. The staff were friendly, but service seemed a little slow. Some of usordered pie to go and once we got our pie waited at least 15 minutes to get our check, but server never came back. We ended upgoing up front to pay. Our wasn't terrible, but these are things to work with your staff on time get better. Read more
