If you have lived in ABQ for a while, you know that there are not many good Chinese restaurants. This one is excellent and... you'll definitely enjoy the food here. This is a better takeout restaurant than dine in, as there are only a couple oftables. I got the Sesame chicken combo with hot and sour soup. The soup had an excellent balance of sour and spiciness. If youlike hot and sour this won't disappoint. The Sesame Chicken had a nice amount of heat to it, which I was pleasantly surprisedby. Most restaurants serve it with no heat to it. I heard about Lucky Wok on Nextdoor and decided to try it..My fiance and I walked into a small but very clean and welcoming... dining area-this place apparently does a brisk takeout and GrubHub business. Because of this, we had a bit of a wait, but thewaiter graciously served us light, crispy eggrolls with sweet and sour sauce with a a small dollop of Chinese mustard on thehouse. The moo goo gai pan and chicken with snow peas had perfectly cooked veggies, yender pieces of white chicken, andflavorful sauces. If you plan to dine there in cold weather, dress warmly because there is no way to escape cold air rushing inwhen the door is opened.
