This was my first time going and we were with a party of 25. For the most part the food was disappointing. Not sure if it was... because of the# of people in our party or what. The Alfredo sauce was watery, as was the sauce on most of the dishes served.Tasteless (It was like it had been thawed out) We enjoyed the appetizers. $80.00 for 3 people was a lot to pay to not besatisfied. Ever since they changed their tip system, the service has gone downhill here. The Uptown location has always tasted better, but... we would go here at least once or twice a month with a large group and order over $150.00 worth of food, it?s always been whereyou write in your tip yourself, and we always tip over 20% on checks even if the service is bad - we were planning on doing thesame thing we always do - we don?t know what that young man is goin through today, let?s make it better by showing him a greattip, and then I saw they decided to automatically charge the tip ? Which by the way was not told to us, and there is no signagestating there is a new policy on gratuities. We have had Mario?s many times while spending time in NM. Hands down some of the best pizza in the area. We?ve tried many things... on the menu and haven?t been disappointed yet. Our last in-house visit was a little rocky. They were clearly short staffed andended up having four separate groups of people wait at the front due to not having anyone to serve us? some left before beingseated. After being seated we all still had to wait for the staff to actually make it to the floor and even then they wereclearly still too short staffed to adequately handle the amount of customers?the food however was all fresh and hot and we stillleft happy. This pizzeria by the Mario's chain is definitely top notch and my favorite one. The authenticity & Aesthetics of both place... and food really defines this place. Service was on a timely manner and food was delicious..we ordered the 15' Hawaiian pizzawith the spinach & artichoke dip, and for desserts we did the chocolate cannoli and chocolate lava cake. They have both digitaland paper menu. Since my initial post we have gone back several times again. This last time we got four XL pizzas and they werehuge and a slice was about the size of my face.
