I want to live here everyday. We did a tasting before selecting our purchases and I learned so much from the owner! The mead... they make is exceptional and they have a wide variety. They sell other things as well like candles, logo'd items and horn mugsand cups. They serve food on the patio that opens to a beautiful scenic view of the property. The best part however is theresident pooch Bella, who will greet and escort you from the parking lot. If you're extra special she might even grace you withher ball so you can play fetch with her too. It's always been a pleasure to visit Grey Owl. They never disappoint with the evolution of their Mead and how they've grown as a... local business. Finally the Cowboy Trail has a place to stop for a rest and a drink. :) Read more

We drove out of Edmonton and this place is absolutely worth the 1.5 hours drive! Very tasteful, well kept, extremely friendly,... lots of room to run and hang out. The wine was amazing and of course Bella (the puppy) is quite the host! I am so happy a friendrecommended this place to us and we will definitely be back! Read more

Very lovely local Meadery. Owners and staff are friendly and well informed. It was a beautiful sunny warm autumn day when we... visited. The lounge is open and heated and faces the forest and the mountains. Just an amazing rural Alberta location. Yesthe Meade was very good and we bought quite a few bottles, as i suspect most visitors do. What a beautiful drive out there fromhwy 2 or from Rocky MTN House. Read more
