We came to enjoy some fresh air on this hot July day, and came across Emmy Squared Pizza on King St in Alexandria. My husband... and I wanted to try some of the healthy options on the menu and we were super happy with the delicious flavors and freshingredients. My Brussels sprouts salad and impossible meatballs were amazing. The photo doesn’t do this salad justice. Myhusband got the wedge salad and Nashville chicken, which was equally flavorful and delicious and came with a unique mint dippingsauce on the side. The drinks (a margarita for me, and wine for him) were chilled and refreshing. I appreciated that theymodified the margarita to make it sugar free too. My 7 year old proclaimed her “classic” pizza was her new favorite. We leftwith smiles, happy bellies, and will be back on our next trip to Old Town Alexandria. Bravo ESP! Read more
Honestly... one of my favorite parts of our whole visit to DC. I love food and we (especially the hubs) loves pizza. So we eat... pizza a lot - and are often disappointed. But let me say that Emmy Squared Pizza was delicious, both when fresh and later ascold leftovers on our night momument tour bus. Some of the most flavorful, thick and yet light pizza crust we've ever had. Ourwaitress was great and made some wonderful recommendations. Happy full people. ???? Read more
Excellent pizza. Their gluten free pizza is some of the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. They manage to still make a... thick Detroit style pie despite it being gluten free. I’ve had both their regular and gluten free pies. They are pricey butworth it the food quality here is great. I don’t often crave pizza but when I do I look forward to ordering from here. Itseems there are a lot of reviews about the service being slow. I would imagine they are a relatively busy place, so keep that inmind. They often mark themselves as unavailable on Uber Eats due to high volume crowds on the weekends. Still worth the wait. Read more
This was a great meal. We got a pizza, which was delicious, the award winning burger and the waffle fries. Wow! I didn’t want... to stop enjoying this food! The environment was cool too. The design and decorations in this place were well thought out andgreat for the vibe. I definitely recommend for a big lunch or dinner. Read more

We decided on this location based on a recommendation from a friend. The appetizers were great and came out in a decent amount... of time. The pizza we ordered took an hour after our appetizer to be brought out. I am not sure what happened, we watchedseveral that were seated around the same time as us as well as after us finish their dinner and leave. We asked our server for astatus and she continued to tell us the pizza is almost ready and will be out soon, yet we continued to wait. Once the pizzacame out, it was good but nothing special. Not worth an hour wait. All in all our dining experience was an hour and 45 minutesfor pizza and apps. Read more
