I will never order again from this place. The expectations were high but food is 1 out of 10. Ramen - very-very tasteless broth.... Not enough meat and very small portion. Sushi - total disaster! They fall out before you put them into mouth. Mostly theyconsist of rice, not anything else. There was a salad as well and it had 1 slice of radish. Seriously?! Plus they didn?t putchopsticks or even napkins. Very big disappointment. Read more
This place was pretty good. I ordered Sweet Tea, Yakitori, and Shoyo Ramen. The ramen hit the spot during the cold and rain, so... I was happy with it. It was very filling and the bamboo shoots were especially good. The broth was decent, the eggs wasdelicious, and the Pork was juicy but I had too few. The Yakitori was good but basic. I didn?t hate it but I would rather havechosen and tried something else in the menu. The sweet tea was just a can of Brisk, which was disappointing but still good. This place is incredible! As a connoisseur of sushi, and living in Japan for 4 years, this is the closest thing to an authentic... Japanese sushi experience that you can find in the DMV. The value and prices are stunning for what you get. The fish is qualityand they don?t skimp on portion size. The Japanese sushi chefs behind the counter are AWESOME. I would eat here everyday if Icould. I always get the ?chef?s choice?. The staff are so polite, friendly and professional. The ramen is also legit and veryvery good. It?s a hole in the wall, and always busy. So recommend a reservation if you?re not sitting at the bar (but sit at thebar, it?s the best and fun). Read more
