Horrible experience with them tonight. I had been a HUGE advocate for Zalat--they have something for everyone! Vegan cheese, all... beef pepperoni, and gluten-free crust that tastes like the real thing... until tonight. After my interaction I'm not sure wewill be visiting this establishment again. I ordered a GF pizza as per usual, only the crust I received tonight is sad and flat, like cardboard. I thought that perhaps I got the wrong order, or maybe, to my disappointment, they changed their crust (ithappens, that's life), but I wanted to know. I called, and the person on the phone kept insisting they hadn't changed theircrust. So why did it look so different? I just wanted to know if this was the new expectation going forward so I could weigh mypizza options in the future. He was acting as if I was unfounded and crazy for even insisting that it was changed, andeventually that he didn't know what to suggest and was "sorry I was unsatisfied." I knew I couldn't be dreaming; the crust Iwould get would sink perfectly into their srirancha sauce and have me in blissful disbelief that I was eating gluten-free pizza. This new crust was just... sad. What every generic gluten-free pizza option typically looks like. More so I was worried that, ifthey didn't change their pizza, I got the wrong crust then and this one DID have gluten in it that would make me sick. Wedecided to take it back to the store, still thinking perhaps there was a mistake or mixup. My husband talked with those at thefront desk, and the man at the counter admitted that YES, they DID change their gluten-free crust 4 months ago. So, to recap, the man on the phone made me out to be some crazy Karen for just calling to ask if what I got was a mistake because it lookeddifferent, then we drove all the way BACK to the store for them to tell me I was correct, and say they had no solution for usand send us back on our way home again with now cold pizza. No discount or resolution, just an "oh yeah it did c Read more

We have been through a number of the specialty pizzas and they have all been quite good. Service has been good at the counter... and the employees always nice. This last round we decided to play reaper roulette wanting to get that extra spiceyslice. Don't fear the reaper... A bit of the pizza did have some heat but if you tell me reaper peppers I am thinking I willat least need to clear my sinuses or take a break after that slice. Sadly this was not the case. If that is as hot as thetopping gets, I would actually like that across the entire pizza! Read more

Zalat pizza is by far my favorite pizza place in DFW so I was so excited they were opening a location close to my new house. The... food was great as always. I recommend the simple basil pizza! It was ready quickly and the customer service was great. Read more

My favorite pizza in Allen. It?s a toss-up because there are half a dozen great pizza places within 5 miles, and we switch up... often for variety, but the Stacy Zalat location is consistently excellent. The crust is perfect, and the sauces and toppingsare bang-on. Please keep it up! Read more
