This is the second time I?ve been here and another great experience. I?m just sad it?s so far away from my house! I ordered the... carnitas torta again (lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, onions, and carnitas with delicious avocado slices, real avocado! Not thefake green sauce.) Today they had corn hole out with a few people playing in the Sun. They were bumping some sweet tunes too. Really good meaty tacos, the way they should be. Tried all the salsas, and they're not very spicy. A little pricy though
Their barbaqueso birria tacos are some of the best around. The tacos are stuffed with flavorful barbacoa while other places... skimp and the consume makes a tasty dip or soup on its own. The barbaqueso dish is a little spendy at $18, but worth it, you get4 tacos and a cup of consume. I prefer if they offered a 3 taco version, 4 tacos are a bit much for lunch. EDIT: I used to enjoy coming here but lately I feel like their quality has deteriorated. I make sure to call ahead and order my... new plate without onions. I understand the first time it happens, no problem. But it has become a regular occurrence at thispoint that it?s frustrating. Now my tacos aren?t even crispy anymore. So by the time I try to eat them, they?re soggy and fallapart. They used to be crispy and just right. Don?t know if I?d recommend this to a friend anymore. I come here at least once aweek for the barbaqueso plate!
