I am currently sitting here in Foxfire. After hours of traveling and finding zero open restaurants I was SO grateful for the... hospitality our server Sharon has shown us from the moment we walked up to the building. It was really busy, but they kept seating more and more people. We waited almost two hours for a burger (good) and nachos (not... good and old guacamole). At one point, there were at least five or six tables in the bar area with us and none of us had anyfood. Why have fifty customers unsatisfied when you could do a great job for thirty? A lively, popular spot that offers good food and (on at least some nights) live music. Service was friendly, timely, and... attentive. My wife had Chicken Alfredo, and I chose to treat myself with a burger (which I rarely do). Neither entreedisappointed. I had baked beans as a side dish, and was pleasantly surprised at the large serving size. The owner came aroundand made sure everything was satisfactory. The whole experience made us feel welcome. We choose to eat here because it has outdoor seating where we could bring our dog. However, we were allowed inside the door... since one of our party was soaked from riding in the rain and cold. The food was great and servers were friendly and evenbrought water and a Milkbone dog biscuit for our dog. The owner was there with his dog and had a nice conversation with us. Read more
