Guy was shockly rude. I asked if they sold blonde vanilla lattes... guy looks at me, and snapped, "You know where your at... right?! This is Alpine, these are your choices" even my fiance, who was standing behind me got livid with the way he treatedme...... like some unwanted "outsider"... that was simply uncalled for,.. a simple "I'm sorry, we don't" would of been perfect.I thought small towns were supposed to be friendly. This is a super cute coffee shop I found on my way to big bend. You can see a beautiful landscape if you sit outside. Next door... and connected through a little there is a book store. The affogato is a 10/10 The lavender cold brew is meh. Their coffee wassuper bitter so be aware if you don?t love strong bitter coffee. 100% try the parfait! It?s delicious! ???? was completely rude once walking in. at first i asked for something simple listed on their menu, pour over, which for some... reason they didnt have, which, i understand but they already had some items taped off of their menu so why not do that for thatitem. and then i was told he could make great espresso so then when i asked for a specific drink (undertow an espresso drink)and i was asked what it was and began to explain only to be cut off mid sentence and told no no no. we don't do that. but whyask me what it was and me, being an avid coffee drinker and former barista ready to explain, to be cut off so abruptly andrude!? I asked for the house coffee which he said he just freshly brewed. i never knew you could mess up a regular brew ofcoffee until i tasted THEIRS. SO watery. i understand not everyone likes "strong" but when i have coffee i want COFFEE not waterwith coffee flavor. i love supporting small businesses i RARELY leave bad reviews but it just appalled me that this person idon't know could be so pretentious and rude for no apparent reason! i would like to try again and i will update this review. ireally do hope this was just a bad day. it needs better customer service. smiles go a LONG way! it had an okay atmosphere.pretty decor and eclectic.
