Drove an hour out, kayaked then came here at 3pm and was told there closed, yet website says open till 8pm. turn around and... they're still serving customers I just wanted clam strips and a drink! Heck in this heat I would've been happy with just a drinkbut got told they're closed for an hour so I'd have to wait! Poor customer service a drink requires little to no effort and theywouldn't even let me order one!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! Read more

Pop?s is such great food and service! They have indoor dining with AC on the the main floor and a deck above as well. Across the... street is Alton bay where we go sit at a picnic table and watch the boat?s in the bay! I highly recommend Pop?s Clam She?ll. Read more

A treasure. I worked here in the late 70s - it really hasn't changed much (which is a good thing). The original owners, (the... Andrews) built the business on high quality food. The current owner (son in law of who I had worked for I believe) seems to becontinuing that tradition. They have had a bad rap for high prices but it's really not excessive all things considered. With thechanges in ownership and menu at Sawyer's, Pop's is back at the top in the Lake's region. Read more

Don't get a pepper steak sub here is my advice. It was basically 60% peppers and the meat had little flavor at all. I also tried... my daughter's calamari but that was flavorless. Fries and soda where good. Read more
