Never before have I gone to a cleaner Waffle House, anywhere in the US. Food arrived 3-4 minutes after ordering. Everything was... cooked flawlessly. I'm impressed. Was this a one off? Is this the norm. Only way to know is to come back again. Update Thattrip was a one off. I've been back twice now. This place is like any other. The staff argues with you. Tries to tell you thatthe menu is worded wrong. Even though I order the same thing at every waffle house I go to. 2 stars dropped. All the tables and counters were filthy and no one cleaned them until we got a rag to do it ourselves. The employees were... extremely loud and the room wasn't quiet until they stepped outside. They forgot my water twice and once I was done with my foodI found some black stuff in the bottom of my coffee cup that wasn't coffee grounds it looked like a piece of an onion. How everthe cook did a good job with the food. We didn't check the ice machine and we suspect that there is slime in it, because thewater that I did get was a brownish in color. Read more

We always enjoy Waffle House, but our service today was unusually great! We arrived on a Sunday morning to a location that was... about half full, and within just a few minutes it was running over with guests. There were 9 employees efficiently workingbehind the counter. With everything going on, however, our young server Darrion was unflappable. He took our order, made sureour meal was cooked to our liking, fixed a mistake, and refilled drinks.
