Loved the food and patrons were friendly. It was a good break from Mexican food. Located in a sleepy small town. It was an... unique experience and price was good when compared to metropolitan areas in Southern California. They had a live singer who wassinging Amarillo by Morning/George Strait. Made me think about the audition while back by Mongolian cowboy. Read more

Delicious food all around. Excellent tortilla chicken soup and juicy steaks cooked to order. Perfect service as well.

When we started to arrive, the server did not remember our reservation for 8 (which ended up being 5) but quickly put tables... together and set them with a great attitude. It took about a half an hour for the whole party to arrive and we were never madeto feel rushed. Our solo server explained that the expected back dining room was not open due to the season being slow. So, weate in the bar. Since we do not drink this was unexpected. The clientele was pleasant and quiet so, no problem. It took quite awhile to have our orders taken as our server never stopped rushing between all the tables and the bar. She had a remarkablememory, remembering all five orders perfectly. It was an hour before the orders came, but they were worth the wait.. Forappetizers, we can recommend the Skillet Queso (if not the chips) and the Southwest Elote Corn Bites with a nummy dip. Each was$9. Don't forget to check out the bar menu as it has several tasty options not on the menu. The Stagecoach Fries areparticularly good. The pulled pork sliders come with a huge dish of sweet potato fries. The delicious Ribeye Steak was listed as"MP", which we assume was Market Price. The Market Price was $48!! To be fair, the accompanying salad and potato were verylarge. House made bleu cheese dressing got a fair rating. It took our overworked server quite a while to bring the check, but,if you have lots of time, we can recommend a visit. Note: two of our party got confused as to where the entrance was: it wasthrough the enormous steer skull. Watch for the skeleton! Read more

I was in from out of town, but I wasn't very impressed by the food. My friends that I stayed with raved about the place and said... it was always very good, reasonably priced, and very busy. There was one other table occupied at 5 PM. My friends said theprices had gone way up, and I felt it was definitely overpriced for what I received. In fairness, it wasn't bad. I ate it all.But I felt the prices certainly weren't fair. Read more

The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. The service was not good at all, but the wait staff was at least kind when... they did come by our table. My drink was never once refilled. The food was mediocre and I was left feeling that I over paid formy lunch. The potatoes skin's were sad and over baked and we were surprised that the Sliders we ordered was an order of just 2.Only place that has ever been the case. Maybe 2 would have been sufficient if they were hardy, but they weren't. The BBQ wasawfully sweet. The sweet potatoe fries were perfect. Read more
