I love this place! I tried the 72oz challenge back in 2015 and failed. I came back in 2022 and conquered it! The staff was... great, the meal was plenty, ha! My family also ate and had great service and tasty food. I?ve never been cheered on eatingtill here! It?s an experience to take in, whether you?re trying the challenge or getting to witness someone attempting it. Thegift shop is also amazing?stop by and see for yourself. Read more
My daughter and I were traveling through Amarillo on a road trip and this was the perfect place to stop for lunch! We love RT 66... and this was the perfect 66 roadside attraction. The entire place has the ambiance of an old school attraction with fortuneteller machines, pressed pennies, lots of places to take photos and a really awesome gift shop. What an experience, we had to wait 1.5hrs to get a table. Easy check in system that will text you when you table is ready. You... can use the gift shop and bar whilst you wait. Was seated as soon as the table was ready. Very busy so the food took a while butwas delicious. Large portions. Very noisy especially if someone is trying to complete the 72oz steak challenge but just adds tothe ambiance. A little expensive but worth it for the experience. Read more
Tourist trap in a good way. Service was good and pretty quick for as big of a place as it is. Server was super friendly. A man... was walking around playing guitar for tips. Food was good, but not anything out of this world. I?d say my steak was a littleover cooked in places which always makes me sad for a steak place. They didn?t ask how my son wanted his steak cooked for thekids meal, so that was definitely cooked more than our preference, but was my fault for not asking. Read more

An absolute must stop while passing through. This place is very popular so either make a reservation or be prepared to wait 30+... minutes. (Well worth the wait). Tons of stuff to check out while you wait including a gift shop, a live rattlesnake, photoprops, shooting games, a few curiosities exhibits, and more. Now the food is fresh and cooked to perfection (ordered mine rare,husband med rare). The waiter was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and was accommodating to our requests.
