Pulled up at 9 am (when the drive through is supposed to open). Sat at the menu board for 10 minutes to no response. Placed an... online order since they weren?t picking up and inside was still dark, doors locked, chairs up, and open sign not on. The ordergot confirmed and my food is ?being prepared? but yet no one is here, the store is not open, and the pick up time gets pushedback with every passing minute. I used to come here super late night because they were the only thing open at 2 AM back in the day. Food was OK, but nothing... great. I've not lived in Ames for years, but now that I'm back I tried it again and it is WAY better than I remember. Generousportions and the carnitas were juicy. Best fast Mexican I think I've had!
