Had a great time and some really good pub grub. The staff accommodated our entire baseball team, Including parents and siblings... on a Saturday night. They did a great job!! I went on a Friday night and it was pretty crowded. However, I had gotten there late enough that I didn't have to wait. But do... be prepared to wait if you go because they stay busy, from what I saw. This is in a nice, quiet area and there's pretty sceneryto enjoy while you wait. When I got inside, I was seated right away and even though they were busy, I didn't have to wait morethan about five minutes before my server came to get my drink order. They do make quite a few drinks if you're interested insomething with a little kick. They had BBQ ribs, half or full rack. It was also all you can eat fried Cod. Normally, I'd do theribs but was in the mood for fish. The ribs looked delicious, though. As i was waiting for my food, I enjoyed the way they'ddecorated. The highlight of their restaurant is that beautiful Schlitz statue by the POS station. It sits on an old fireplacemantle. My fish arrived pretty quickly. Giving it four stars because my first order seemed to have been cooked a while. It washot but the bigger piece was dried out and a little tough. The other had a good flavor but I could tell it wasn't freshly done.I ordered two more pieces. These were hot and so much better. What I had expected the first order to be like. The waffle frieswere seasoned but not too much to be overpowering. I'm kind of picky when it comes to slaw so I didn't care for it but don't letthat scare you away from trying it. I only like it from two or three places. I don't eat tartar sauce so I can't tell you aboutit. Don't expect good cell service here. Was the first time I'd seen 3G coverage displayed in years! So you'd better like whoyou came with because you're actually going to have to have good conversation or awkward silence. Read more
