Mediocre food and terrible service. Almost 10 minutes after being seated, we still hadn't seen our waitress or had our drink... order taken. We had been seated for 40 minutes before we received our order, and our entrees arrived before the appetizer(which we had to point out). Had to ask for Ketchup twice, and fries were cold by the time we got it. As for the food, thesalmon on the salmon sandwich was overcooked to the point it literally left dry salmon flakes on my plate when I cut it in half. As you can tell from the picture, it was also under-sized given the size of the bun. The Buffalo chicken salad had way toomuch buffalo sauce on the chicken. We were very pleased with this restaurant. The pizza price at ~$13 was very reasonable, especially for an airport. Ingredients... were high quality with many options for herbs and vegetables. Vegetarian options available. Expect food will take a while as thesign said to expect 20 minutes. Read more
I've given Silver Gulch two tries while passing through the Anchorage airport, despite a number of signs out front making one... feel not particularly welcome. Mediocre, expensive food, served by a largely disinterested, inattentive staff ensure I will nottry for a third time. There are better alternatives at Anchorage airport while Silver Gulch sorts out staffing issues which seemto underlie some of this restaurant's challenges. Read more
Got to the airport early and this was my first stop in for a meal and drinks before a flight south. Salad was fresh, the halibut... fish and chips was great. Food was hot and service was great. I recommend it for anyone. My six year old loves the kids fish andchips and the crazy long bendy straw he got with his drink. Read more
