This is my favorite BBQ spot. If you love chicken, and great service go to debar on the weekend. The lady always has a smile,,... on her face.. she is amazing. Our family usually, buys 2 whole chickens with sauce on the side, plus 1 - 2 sides. Cheaper theneveryone getting there own plate. & way more food. Love this place ? Read more
In this inauspicious little shack one can find some of the best barbecue I?ve ever had anywhere and one of the best restaurants... in Anchorage. The food here is absolutely wonderful. The brisket, the ribs, the pulled pork, all the sides like beans, coleslaw,potato salad and especially the cornbread. It?s all great!!! My wife and I love this place. The only reason I don?t go hereevery week because I think I?d put on too much weight. I?ve heard from many people that the owners are super nice people and doa lot of good stuff in their community. I recently had these guys when they catered our teamsters picnic. They?re great atcatering too! This is just one very very good restaurant. Read more
It's a shame you can't leave more than one review for a place. Today is the first time I experienced rude service and bad food... for $10. Because of the rudness I didn't leave a tip, the women looks at it before she makes my food and hands be a box of sausewith some fries and brisket. It was a five star from me before but not now. Not worth it anymore. Read more

Went to my son's house and we placed the to go... containers on the table and shared it between 3 adults and one 4 year old along with a homemade pizza they made for dinner andwe had leftover bbq pork afterwards. We enjoyed the food and will be back for sure. Try the $5 bbq pulled pork sandwich, it isdelicious and portion is great! Read more
