I went to Boondocks Restaurant on Hwy. 81 N. Greenville St. , Anderson SC. I got shrimp ???? and grits for LUNCH! Cost $22 water... to drink. When served I took one bite and so ???? I couldn't eat. I have issues with ???? foods. I get shrimp & grits at Grits &groceries $15.95 & Bimini's in Greenville $14.95 w garlic bread and tell them leave out jalapeno peppers & they are great. Iask at Boondocks and told mild. I asked for a to go box and was charged another $2.00 because you pay extra for to go box. Themanager didn't ask to redo them less ???? or anything else to change to eat. I left paying $24.15 for LUNCH! I had errands to dobefore coming home so I stopped at Aldi's bought an insulated backpack. Went to QT's bought ice -& packed the shrimp ???? &grits for my husband's dinner. My first and last trip to Boondocks! Dine in + take out! Read more
Food was delicious! The owner made an effort to personally welcome each one of us and made sure everything was A-Ok! The peach... cobbler and ice cream was out of this world! The friendly atmosphere was just the cherry on top. If you are ever in this area, Iwould highly recommend. Read more
This place was two pricey. I bought two boondock birddogs and pickle chips and didn't even get a drink. The total just for mine... came up to be $17 and some change. It blew my mind how much it was for a couple of birddogs and little order of pickle chips. Iwouldn't recommend this place Read more
