Gets 5 stars for amazing food. Their fried chicken is the best. Loses 4 stars for driving out from the far reaches of the... city only to be greeted by a sharpie'd sign that they are 'closed for lunch'. So yeah, don't depend on the hours posted onGoogle. Update: gains back 3 more stars because my wife brought leftovers home today (hamburger steak and a loafer) and it wasAMAZING!!! Read more
Amazing all around. First time visiting this establishment and we will definitely be back many more times. Must order the fresh... fried potato chips with their French onion dip. They came out hot and crispy. The fried pickle chips were very good as well.There is no words that can describe how amazing the fried chicken is. We ordered the 4 piece meal to share between the 2 of us.It came with 2 sides and a roll. We could only eat 2 pieces and took 2 home. The pieces were so big we could barely finish them. Perfection is the best word used to describe our meal. Our waitress was so amazing wish we could remember her name. Never hadto wait for a refill on our drinks she was on top of everything before we even knew we needed anything. If you are wanting someexcellent fried chicken then this is the place to go. I ordered the Rocky Mountain Oysters with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. It came with a salad which I chose raspberry... vinegarette dressing for. Everything tasted great and I have no complaints on the service. Come in, find a seat, and a servershould be with you shortly. I like this place but last three times I visit I ordered my burger medium rare I sent one back to be re cooked the other two... times I was pressed for time or I would have sent them back as well, I told server to tell owner come out look at the meat henever came said it was medium rare when he put it in window. I used to be a Kitchen Mgr for a much larger restaurant then this Imade all the home made soups and hand cut our own steaks so he's not fooling me they were closing for lunch and re open at 4pm so that burger came out fast had no time to sit under heat lamp I should have sent it back but they take a two hour breaktill 4 pm. I find it insulting owner says he's right and customer is wrong, here is, a photo that burger was well done. Theseguys not used to cooking meats, medium rare and nobody offered a apology so I have to re think going back I'm from out of townlove the burger when prepsred the way it was ordered. So if you order burger or steak here and you like it RARE to MED RARE cutinto your meat while server is at table incase you need to send it back. I have had at least a dozen burgers and coincidentallythe last three were all over cooked. I never once received a Mgr or owner say there sorry basically shut up pay for it don'tcomplain. That's not how you handle these, situations in a full service restaurant. I don't like writing these type of reviewit's, a good place hope you have a better experience. That's why I gave 3 STAR wanted to give a two but I know things happen butafter three times in a row with nobody but server to register complaint and no Mgt concern whatsoever was, disappointing.
