Paella in Des Moines?!! Oh yes!! Flavory Bistro has 5 stars across the board when you look up reviews and it?s because their... food is exceptional. Mediterranean food and some Spanish influence with paella - wow!! Gyros are one of our favorites here butwe come here specifically for paella. The owner and chef, Lisa, can even make it vegan! Both are excellent inflavor. Restaurant is minimalistic in decor and style. Two cozy spots in the front of the restaurant seats larger parties.Possibly for reserve. Service is nice and can get very busy when business picks up during prime dining hours. For paella:Preorder head to order clams and mussels! But is traditionally made with scallops, jumbo shrimp and chicken. Love coming herefor date nights but also fun with a group of friends. Highly recommend! Read more
One of our favorite restaurants for sure. The lamb with the cheese is AMAZING. But everything we have had has been great. The... staff is super friendly as well. I love their elderflower tea. Can't wait to try the seafood paella as we have heard greatreviews on it. Read more
