The best crab soup ever! It was our first time here and I'm always so hesitant to get sea food soups, but this was delicious.... Everything was good and I love they have the riceless roll (Naruto roll.) Read more
6 stars if I could. This place is special. Fresh seafood "flow in" is touted by many but no matter how fresh it may be...ya... still have to cook it right. I was more than impressed with the Salmon special this evening. Perfectly cooked, a nice saucethat complimented but didn't overwhelm the fine preparation of the Filet...sauce drizzled on the rice but not too much. Wellthought through and executed dish. Dessert...the chocolate cake tastes like my recipe, which I love! Not to mention the kindstaff who cared for me through the dinner with no mention of the time as I had no clue I walked in 10 mins before close. Very good place eat. We've had fish, sushi, gumbo, sides and everything has been tasty and fresh. The customer service there is... awesome and the facility is very clean?lots of parking and easy to find. Read more

My wife and I had heard stories about this place and how it was so amazing, but this was not the case. While they do have a... good menu size (+1 star for that) the food just... It should taste like more than fish, right? Each fish should have a differentflavor, or something, right? We spent a couple hundred dollars here, everyone was like "oh, this is.. not worth $40". Ipersonally went the cheap route, seeing as to how I'm picky, and I got catfish. -It was... About the same quality food as thefish you would get at china buffet, up Delaware Ave. Our party was more than 5. The service was alright. Nothing stood out other than the waitress was attractive (which honestly has nothing to do with this review, but I'll leave it in here.) So hey,if you're looking for fish, let's be real: you're in Iowa. The meat is where it's at here. So Just go to Long John Silver's orsomething for fish. Don't waste your money on the "special" types of fish they have here. It's from Alaska, but it sat in an icetruck on its way here for many miles.
