Great drink and food options. The brand can be a little pricey, but other than that I've had nice experiences at the cafe.
The Monster Matcha drink is one of the best coffee drinks I have EVER had! Japanese matcha, cream, and espresso. Together, these... flavors are earthy, rich, and ultimately delicious. As much as I come to the library next door, I need to stop by here more often! I'm usually a tea drinker with occasional coffee... at the cafes. When I do order coffee, I want to actually taste it, not hide it behind a bunch of sweeteners. Today I decided totry the iced Americano from Sweetwaters and am pleasantly surprised. Great flavor, would say it's not too heavy like a darkroast, which I do like. I've begun to enjoy espressos more and exploring around town. This was a refreshing start to mymorning! A standard Americano is 1:1 espresso to hot water. Not here. I ordered a large which I'm guessing was a 16 oz cup. The large... comes with 2 shots. Add 2 shots of water to that you get the right ratio at about 4 oz. Fill the rest of that cup with hot waterand you have....brown water. If you aren't bothered to provide a good quality product like the proper ratio of espresso to waterin a large, don't sell it. Read more
