Food was very good! I had onion rings that were awesome! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The restaurant itself had a plaque... outside from the hysterical society... ha ha ha. Fantastic portions, easy going atmosphere. Definitely stopping here next time I'm in town.
Had the chicken fried steak twice and cat fish once. Each was ... ok... at best. The server I had showed zero sense of urgency... to help me and never would acknowledge me until she was coming to get my order about 5 minutes or more after i walked in. Ihave an hour drive home from work and I'm usually starving by the time I get to this point in my trip home which is the onlyreason i stopped more than once. I love the food here The steak fingers are so tender and the curly fries are crispy. They are not stingy with the servings... either. Their beans are good but a little to spicy for me. But I could eat there se veral times a week. We eat the all you caneat catfish and it is very good. I am grateful to have Tiptons Cafe in Anson! Read more

Food was burned, (discovered this AFTER we drove home and had waited in the drive through for 20 minutes) charged me for food I... specifically said I did not want (made my fries into curly fries then charged me 99 cents per meal). The waitress was nice(refunded the burnt meal-still shorted me the 99 cents-btw another person arrived while we were there to take back THEIR food)but nevertheless we were very disappointed. During those 20 minutes I was sitting in the drive-through I tried repeatedly totalk to the man cutting potatoes at the open drive-through window, was ignored, and finally called the restaurant to get astatus on my food all while SITTING in the drive-through.
