Decent drinks.Unbelievably rude bartender. If you?re not a regular here you will not be treated well. Maybe things will change... once they rebuild the restaurant. Read more

My son and I stopped by and had the best food in this area! We had the great pulled pork sandwich as an appetizer. We had... blackened catfish & fish fry. It was the best fish fry I have ever had! The greens, slaw, fried cabbage and corn muffins wereoutstanding. The food is all from scratch so if it?s busy expect a wait. Read more

The deck atmosphere is beautiful over Channel Lake, nice tiki bar, and they have Carlos, a new cook who is amazing! Had the... special of some blackend catfish was amazing. Good food. The menu is short right now, so ask for specials or anything the cookwill make special for you. Definitely going back. Read more

We ordered carry out and they said it would be about 20 minutes. (I live a block away) I left on the 20 minute mark. Food was... hot and ready to go when we got there so that was good. Ordered 2 po boys and 2 tender meals total of $42. The sauce on the poboys was excellent. My in-laws live in Louisiana and I visit often. My favorite thing down there is the shrimp po-boys. The onefrom turtle was good enough that I would get it again when the craving. The biggest down fall is that for both sandwiches theshrimp was rubbery. Other than that the taste was good. Would rate 3.5 out of 5. Biggest down fall is there is no kids menu. Wehave 4 little ones and would probably eat there more of they had a kids menu. Read more

Sad to say, if I could give no stars that would be more accurate. The most horrible experience, ever. And with the restaurant... industry suffering so much right now I cant believe any owner is treating customers this way. Our family & friends showed up, aparty of 9 to eat and drink. Found a big open sign but the owner walked up & immediately said it's going to be an hour wait forfood. We saw an outside deck with some people and since we were drinking we decided to stay. She then said, oh you can't sit upthere. Strike 1. We ordered food, about $150.00 and some drinks. After waiting for our food for about 40 minutes (there weremaybe 10 customers in total) we tried to go inside for some shots. The bartender was about to serve us but the owner came outand told her she needs to kick us out, literallythe bartenders words. Strike 2. After waiting an hour for our food I went tocheck on it. There was another couple checking on their food because they said they had been waiting 2 hours. I gasped and askedthe owner if she had started our food, she rudely laughed and said no. Strike 3. We paid our bar bill and left. On a side note, the women's bathroom sink water didn't work and there was no soap. Humm..... Luckily we found The Sand Bar! 10 star experience! Read more
