this is a joke ... only two shrimp came in my order and I paid 18 dollars just for two shrimp, the worst place
I had the raw oysters (they were pretty decent) and my girl and I shared the Huanchinango al Mojo de Ajo. I'm shocked that a... fried fish was tied for the best fish I've ever had. This fish was utterly perfect. It was crispy to the point that the fins,head, and gill bones were crispy enough to eat straightaway, the skin texture was bone dry but the meat was plenty moist. (Long review) The food was good but my experience was unfortunately poor. I ordered the food over the phone, no problem. When I... arrived into the restaurant, we made eye contact with multiple waitresses, the owner (seemingly) and the bartender/cashier. Noone greeted me or my husband. They walked around us as if we didn?t exist and we stood awkwardly, trying to catch someone?sattention for 5 actual minutes. Right next to the entrance was my already prepared order. My husband suggested we grab thefood in order to receive acknowledgment from a staff member. He picked it up, and voilà, in less than 30 seconds, the bartenderheaded towards us, wagging her finger as if to tell us we could not touch the items. I informed her I was the person who calledover the phone, and for her part, she did seem embarrassed and apologized for the treatment. The prices were reasonable, thefood was good, but in a small, beautiful restaurant, they treated me like I was invisible, and then like a bad child. I did notfeel treated fairly or welcomed at all.
