I'm Italian, been cooking Italian meals since 14 years old. My great grandparents came over from Italy. One of my specialty... meals is Eggplant. Not many restaurants can cook it properly. Pictures look nothing like inside, little noisy, service was slow to start but picked up, italian beef was average, they serve... only RC cola, fries are just average (little limp) but having said all that, it was first time for me eating breaded beefsandwich.....I will be back. Truly yummy. Lived south and north edge of Chicago area most of my life and this was the firsttime I had heard of it. It is worth a return visit. This place a a total gem. The food is fantastic and delicious. Their Spaghetti special with giant meatballs, bread, and a salad... is fantastic. The helping is so big you will most certainly be taking half home and its only $9.99. Their Breaded steaksandwich is habit forming. I wanted to work through their menu on different visits, but I am stuck on ordering this! This is afamily owned business and their attention to detail in their food and decor is noted. Gone here multiple times with the family, and it?s always been a good experience. Staff is quick and very friendly, the food is... great and there?s a decent variety. Good atmosphere and not badly priced. Always leaving extremely full and with leftovers. Willdefinitely be returning. Read more
