Valley Diner catered food for an early morning meeting at our office this week. They arrived early to deliver and set up. They... even brought along a baklava dessert that I didn?t order as an extra goodie for our guests. The food was wonderful. I wasworried the french toast would dry out, but I worried over nothing. Everything was delicious! The staff was extremely friendlyand professional. I would highly recommend Valley Diner for your next meeting or corporate event catering needs! Gave them a 5 star because their service was amazing. Friendly, & fast. The breakfast was delicious. The malt was amazinggggg!... They also gave us the remaining of what couldn't fit in the malt cup ????! Would definitely go back to try more of what's onthe menu. I'm new to the area and have stopped in several times so I could eat while getting some work done on my laptop. Perfect spot... for that! The wait-staff is great and the food is good. Gabby has been exceptionally wonderful and made some great menurecomendations when mentioned being homesick. Anyways, this is a great little spot and I highly recommend it! Just have to say I'm disappointed. While the food was well prepared it tasted like nothing, just outright blah. The place was... nice enough. The service was okay. But I am pretty sure there was lipstick on my coffee cup though that I didn't notice until wewere about to leave. Asked for crispy hashbrowns, nope, no such thing. This is something that cooks just don't seem to get.What, they can't read the order? Or said CRISPY... And what is up with no sour dough toast? Is it just something that is notliked in Minnesota? Like any kind of flavor or spice. Just not going to happen? Only decent places we have found that aren'tnational chains are on the north side. Have to hit the more ethnic, and less affluent areas for decently tasty food. Go to thewhite suburbs... blah. I hate giving poor reviews because these places support people's families and we all need to make aliving. But come on at least use some pepper or something. Read more
